The IMG Performance & Sport Science Center is the new heart of IMG Academy’s athletic programs. Located at the terminus of the quad, the 55,000 SQ.FT. building contains a 12,000 SQ.FT. weight room, cardio mezzanine, movement and yoga spaces. Adjacent to the main workout area is the IMG Academy athletic training space and sports therapy center equipped with treadmill and team hydrotherapy pools. Overlooking the two story workout area is the vision and mental acuity center where athletes develop their peripheral vision, cognitive training and visual tracking skills. The facility also includes the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI) and Under Armour suite. GSSI helps athletes optimize their health and performance through research and education in hydration and nutrition science.
