PROJECT SCOPE

The result of the largest donation in school history, the Baseball Stadium Complex will rival that of professional sports organizations.  The project includes enhancements to the stadium and a new fieldhouse.

STADIUM IMPROVEMENTS

To create a better overall fan experience, new stadium seating and a themed concourse were added.  Improvements also include a 7,500 sq. ft. VIP lounge, VIP viewing seats and a press box structure positioned behind home base.  Within the building are restrooms, concessions, team store and mechanical support for the facility.  Extending down the third base line, berm seating was added along with an umpire locker room and visiting team restrooms.

MODERN FIELDHOUSE

The ground floor of the two-story structure will house the team locker room complete with custom lockers, team lounge, nutrition, H.I.I.T. area, designated coaches locker rooms and state-of-the-art athletic training facilities with hydrotherapy treatment pools.  The second level efficiently lays out coach and staff offices, video coaching, study space, conference rooms, support spaces and a multi-purpose team meeting room with stadium seating overlooking first base.

LOCALLY INSPIRED DESIGN

The aesthetic of the complex is inspired by the local Susquehanna River.  To emulate the river-exposed strata layer of bedrock, local stone, linear glass apertures and horizontal metal paneling were used.
