In 2011 Fawley Bryant Architecture was hired by PepsiCo’s Gatorade brand to design the company’s first satellite Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI) on the IMG Academy campus. Over the years, demand for deeper research into sports nutrition and hydration grew, leading to the design of an expanded 9,200 SQ.FT. GSSI satellite lab. Featuring testing labs, office space and a Gatorade Fuel Bar where athletes can order formulas uniquely mixed for their needs, GSSI is a true marriage of sports and technology.
