PROJECT SCOPE

Hired by the Atlanta Braves to design and prepare the conceptual planning and due diligence phase of work, Fawley Bryant Architecture (FBA) played a significant role in bringing the team’s spring training facility to Sarasota County.  The 80-acre complex features a 6,200-seat stadium, 55,000 sq. ft. clubhouse containing Major and Minor league clubhouses, athletic training facility and executive offices.

The encircled stadium features a 360-degree boardwalk, view of bullpens, shaded tiki bar, diverse seating options with berm seating, field level boxes, scoreboard seating and elevated seating.  An efficient layout orders two major league practice fields, four minor league fields, shaded batting tunnels and pitching mounds along with an observation tower for coaches.

The site has a public plaza outside the stadium and grass fields which can be used for community events.
