PROJECT SCOPE

Fire Station #3 was designed to replace an existing house. Placement is in roughly the same location in order to utilize the driveway, curb cuts, traffic light and utility locations. The project required the use of the most cost efficient methods and materials to minimize costs under a hard bid delivery method. The final house holds up to six pieces of apparatus in three pull-through bays. The interior accommodates 15 crew members over 3 shifts, utilizing separate pantries and secure storage of personal belongings in each room.
