JOB SUMMARY Fawley Bryant Architecture, a full-service architecture firm with offices in Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a Project Designer. This person will work closely with the Director of Design to execute project designs in Revit.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in the design and drawing production for projects
  • Make changes as necessary to any Revit or cad files as the client or PM deem necessary
  • Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving on complex project types
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high quality standards
  • Prepare 2D and 3D architectural design drawings in all phases
  • Perform product research; assist project designers and project architects with materials selection and
    system research
  • Design new or existing building components and systems to develop or improve them
  • Prepares presentation and design drawings and details.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Ability to communicate effectively in written format, oral presentations, as well as in drawings
  • Ability to rework and modify designs based on comments and reviews from clients
  • Ability to multitask and establish priorities
  • Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines
  • Provide clients with suitable design recommendations based on factors such as budget, building site, and recent design trends
  • Basic knowledge of architectural building systems
  • Self-motivated and proactive personality with the ability to work collaboratively and independently as appropriate in a studio environment
  • Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD as well as the Microsoft Suite
  • Proficiency in graphic software such as SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, Bluebeam, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years of professional Architectural Design experience
  • Experience in the commercial, sports, and education market segments
  • Licensure preferred but not a requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program (or equivalent professional experience)
