When designing smart, beautiful spaces, our team is always conscious of the end goal. The design aspects are critically important to ensure we achieve a successful result, but it is essential to consider how the space will impact the land and community around it.
Strategic, ecologically responsible design unerringly leads to a positive economic impact. When we approach a new project, we first consider the client’s functional needs and aesthetic vision. In planning, designing, and building the result, we bring solutions to the table that not only deliver on that vision, but ensure that the result exists in harmony with its surroundings, minimizes disruption, and adds value to the community and its residents.
Premier Sports Complex, Lakewood Ranch

Over the years, the Fawley Bryant team has faced a myriad of design challenges. As a result, we have become known as problem-solvers and solution providers. A terrific example of a project where we accomplished these objectives is the Premier Sports Complex in Lakewood Ranch.
Due to expansion in the vicinity, the community was in dire need of a sports complex that could support its residents. To deliver on this need, we designed new recreation and sports fields that
would grow with the community, serve their present needs, and provide plenty of room to accommodate expansion.
The Premier Sports Complex now features 23 FIFA-regulation celebration Bermuda grass fields on a 140-acre campus, resulting in a successful bid to host the 2021 US Youth Soccer National Championships. The tournament brings teams from all across Florida, promoting the area and ensuring positive economic gains because of it. Without Fawley Bryant’s efforts, this complex would not have supported the capacity required to host such an event.
CoolToday Park, North Port

The Atlanta Braves approached us to build a new spring training facility and laid out very specific guidelines to be met. The facility would not only serve as the Braves’ southern home, but it would also be the community’s home for youth tournaments and other events. Through a strong partnership we worked to deliver every objective and delivered a facility that we proudly believe is the best Spring Training facility in Major League Baseball. In addition to the ballpark’s innovative design and unmatched fan experience, this smart, beautiful space is also creating a grand-slam effect in the community. To date, the park has generated $7.3 million for the community and continues to be a local and regional draw for baseball teams, MLB fans, and sports enthusiasts of all stripes.
Nathan Benderson Park

Nathan Benderson Park is a 600-acre recreational park and part of the infrastructure of University Park. Early development allowed for expansion into the surrounding area, an off-the-beaten-path location that had trouble attracting visitors. As a result of the expansion, several hotels and shopping centers have been built in the area, contributing to local growth and tourism. The Park has since successfully hosted major events and accommodated tens of thousands of people traveling to the area, either participating or spectating. Some of the events the park has hosted include the World Rowing Championship, the Masters’ Regatta, and the U23. As of 2020, Nathan Benderson Park had an economic impact of $8.5 million and will enjoy continued growth from future events and team training.
IMG Academy, Bradenton

IMG Academy is the world’s most prestigious sports, performance, and educational institution. Established in 1978 to accommodate the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy, 92% of their graduates go on to play college sports. Our FBA team is longstanding trusted partners with IMG Academy and we are proud to have been a part of their success story. Our valued partnership led to our team being brought in to develop a master plan for their 500-acre campus that currently houses 1,000 students from more than 80 countries. Our team worked hand and hand and designed modern state-of-the-art facilities and an academic center, which have been a significant factor in helping them maintain their reputation as the premier sports academy in the United States.
Each year, IMG attracts new players and numerous visitors to their venue to attend and participate in international tournaments, such as the Eddie Herr International Junior Championship and CONCACAF. As a result of the modernization and expansion, the local economic impact has been significant on the Bradenton and Manatee County area.
